Bugs and thoughts

As I was helping do chores one day I came across this spider and it's "brood"This isthe spider's egg that I found

I took one of the eggs, and opened it to find thousands of tiny spiders, I wanted to see if they would fly through the air when the wind touched them, (just like in Charlotte's web). Sure enough they did! I wonder if they survived?

I found these ferns growing when up in the moutains, not sure what kind they are
While riding my bike, I came across this cool looking ant pile, It had billions of ants in it.
I thought this was a weird place to find a mushroom, under a rock, but it was pretty enough to get it's picture
Here is the spider that was watching her egg. Look at the pinchers on her!!
This was a another spider next to the bigger one, now we know what the belly looks like on this spider

This is the underside of a neat catapiller I found
This is the same neat looking catapillar notice the colors on it
Then just up from the trail, we found these little catapillars, they were cool colored also

This was another type of fern we found udner some rocks, and to think people actually buy these in the store!

As this site is suppose to be educated oriented, I have been posting info about different living things. I want to become certified in Science, and so I have been trying to show how I could use this blog in a science class and a physical education class. The science information is geared more toward lower elementary. A lot more could be added as my mind goes crazy with ideas at some times.
